So what's the game about?

When the holy emerald table which balanced the good and the dark is broken in a huge anomaly, the protagonist gets transformed into an interdimensional being split between living and darkness, and he has to mend the broken links as he's going through the living and dark world to put the pieces together and restore perfect balance

A rift opens between the living and the under world.

The living bring upon you, an interdimensional being, a plea to traverse through the worlds to mend the broken balance.

Gameplay

Traversal and puzzle solving in parallel realities

The protagonist traverses through the dark and living world and he has to close the rift from the dark side.

In order to reach the rift, the player has to cross the obstacles (puzzles) in the dark world by making use of his world-switching ability. He'll also have spells he can use to shift or destroy obstacles.
